This year has seen the enactment of new legislative boundaries statewide, different lawmaker retirements, as well as all of those perennial dates and deadlines that we need to remember relating to the election. But thankfully, election day is almost here. John Jacobson’s latest Capitol Connection reminds voters of early voting dates and where to find information on polling locations, sample ballots, and more.

Hi, I’m John Jacobson, director of public affairs at Ruder Ware. This year has seen the enactment of new legislative boundaries statewide, different lawmaker retirements, as well as all of those perennial dates and deadlines that we need to remember relating to the election. But thankfully, election day is almost here.
Ruder Ware wanted to remind you that you can visit myvote.wi.gov to check your early voting locations, dates and times relating to your specific community, check your voter registration status, view a sample ballot, and double check your polling location as that may have changed due to the new maps. I know it seems like we’re often in the political crossfire in Wisconsin, our entire state, even our local communities, but, as a colleague of mine always says, happiness is an election season in the rearview mirror. Remember, early voting may take place in our state between October 22nd and November 3rd this year, so make a plan to vote.
