Prior to joining Ruder Ware, Shaughnessy served as a key senior leadership aide in the U.S. House of Representatives counseling Members of Congress on a wide variety of public policy issues including agriculture, energy, transportation, trade, and taxes. In 2014, Shaughnessy was recognized on Roll Call’s “Fabulous 50” list of most influential congressional staffers. Shaughnessy’s background also includes working with stakeholders and clients to navigate the federal regulatory and rule making process.
